What is Epithalon? Circadian rhythm research and evidence
Epithalon, also called Epitalon, is a synthetic four-amino-acid peptide investigated in aging and circadian biology. Research in older monkeys reported changes in melatonin and cortisol rhythms; that finding does not establish improved human sleep or longer life.

What is Epithalon?
Epithalon, also called Epitalon, is a synthetic four-amino-acid peptide investigated in aging and circadian biology. Research in older monkeys reported changes in melatonin and cortisol rhythms; that finding does not establish improved human sleep or longer life. Researchers use study models to explore biological questions. The model and the exact material tested are essential to interpreting a result.
What does the published research show?
A study in aging rhesus monkeys investigated the production of melatonin and cortisol after Epithalon. Researchers reported changes in hormone rhythms in older animals. This was an animal experiment, not a clinical trial of insomnia treatment.1
What the evidence does not show
Epithalon and Epithalamin are different preparations. Epithalon is a synthetic peptide; Epithalamin is a pineal extract. Results for the extract should not automatically be assigned to Epithalon.
Studies of an individual compound cannot establish that combining it with other compounds is effective or safe. Personal observations and wearable sleep data can generate questions, but cannot by themselves show cause and effect.
How this relates to the DUSK collection
The DUSK collection brings together five separately listed research products and the founder’s exploratory questions. Read the Epithalon research listing for its stated strength and pack choices. Matching-strength analytical documentation is pending; do not assume a study tested the listed batch.
